Prodintec (Idoneal) – Technological Center of Gijón
Prodintec (Idoneal), Technological Center of Gijón, has used an Electrospinning unit (ND-ES Lab Electrospinning Unit) in the biomedical field. Its main purpose is to increase its functionality and set up drug delivery, as well as to manufacture dental implants coated with biodegradable polymers.
Through the Electrospinning technique, they have coated implants (made by 3D printers) with PCL (polycaprolactone) and biopolymers.
The Technological Center of Gijón highly evaluates the equipment for being a modular device and easy to use.
