PULSION: Precision ultrasonic pulverisation

PULSION Project: Precision Ultrasonic Spryaing, arises from the need to develop an ultrosonic spray system that allows the flow to be focused with high precision.
The main objective of the project is to control the dispersion of a beam projected by an ultrasonic nozzle, using electro-spray technique. Electro-spray consists of applying a high voltage, on the order of kilovolts, to create an electric field around the nozzle, allowing the focused emission of electrically charged nanoparticles. In this way, it is intended to considerably reduce the spray area, having a diameter under 0.5 mm. Thus,
the coating will be much more uniform, which will ensure that no material is wasted when coating surfaces. On the other hand, and as a result of the incorporation of a different team, other alternatives with a greater commercial focus have been proposed by improving the manufacturing process of the nozzles, as well as in the generation of accessories, to achieve the same effect as the electro-spray in more economical ways.

During the project, several configurations have been tested and many options discovered. All the process has offered to Nadetech a deeper understanding of these options and their commercial viability.
The completion of this project has drawn multiple conclusions that notably benefit Nadetech Innovations team, since it allowed to acquire greateer knowledge due to the exhaustive study of ultrasonic nozzles.
Improvements obtained cover various areas, such as the assembly process, the focalization, and the positioning system.
After PULSION, Nadetech has established the consolidation of these improvements as goals, keeping on developing actions that will lead to obtain a wider portfolio, speaking about spraying width.
Thus, this project has contributed to the continuous search for excellence of our company.
